At this point, I was starting to get really bored, the story wasn't really grabbing my attention and the voice acting was mid, so I don't remember anything about the conversation except Naomi sounded upset when Fang left. Class ends, and Naomi asks Fang to talk, and I obliged.
If you chose to be honest, the other students say that their texts won't send either, to which Naomi chimes in about some interference on her mom's radio this morning, also stating the reason the bell didn't work. She asks for the phone and there's a very very forgiving mashing game, which gives you ten seconds to move a marker from "give her your phone" to "Not happening" which sounds like trouble, so I waited the timer out. Her frustration attracts the attention of her teacher, which I chose to be upfront about what I was doing. I chose to hold off on the audition news until Reed was present. Apparently, they haven't seen each other or kept up once over the summer because Trish is excited to share her new bug thing she got from "Bug Camp," as well as surprised by Fang's new hair color. Someone JL agrees to allow Fang onto an audition after sending JL the song you just played.įast forward to school, and Fang meets Trish outside. Then, the sound cuts out except for the sound of Fang texting 5 different people at the same time. Naser is revealed to be the club president, their parents are out of town, and Naser made Fang breakfast before he leaves. None of it sounds amateur, just slightly off from other characters. Naser enters with a totally not forced "Hey Sib." Something you'll notice is that the mic quality is different for every character. Mistakes don't affect how the song is played though, one of your actions is inaudible, and the other two are non guitar sounds when that's the only instrument being played. The song Fang plays however is quite enjoyable to listen to however short it might be. It's fairly simple for a first look only partly challenging because of the lag from my controller I plugged in or the game being a buggy mess.

It gives you a choice to hold onto it or not, but it doesn't seem to affect anything as you immediately flashback 8 months to day one of Fang's senior year of High School. The game starts with all the characters around the campfire discussing weather to throw the yearbook into the flames. I am aware that it is a demo and shouldn't be considered the final product, even the demo tells you to expect bugs, but after 2 years and 5 weeks from release and it's not looking good. TLDR: My expectations were low, and I was still disappointed.
